A simulation of the Operations TV for a fictional company, with jobs closing and calls being booked.
Refreshed every minutePulled on a schedule, so the TV never waits on a crawl.
Set up from your own dataThe rules are proposed from a year of your account, then confirmed by you.
Changes by ticketEvery change gets a status, a reply within one business day and a numbered rules version.
What is on the board

Four dashboards. One set of rules. Zero spreadsheets.

Everything is computed from the same rules, so the TV, the one-on-one sheet and the month's report never disagree.

Operations TV

Revenue against target for today, the week, the month and the year, call capacity for today and tomorrow, and every tech's scoreboard. Built for a wall, read from across the room.

Tech Breakdown

For one-on-ones: where each tech's revenue came from, close rates against their own target, average ticket, callbacks. This month, last month or year to date.

Monthly revenue

Any month in the TV's look, with the same month last year beside it, the service, maintenance and install split, week by week, and the tech tables for that month.

Leads by source

What each lead source brought in and how much of it closed, from the lead source on every job in Housecall Pro. Spend and cost per lead join on Pro.

Leads by source

Which source actually closes.

Every job in Housecall Pro carries a lead source. We count them, follow each one to booked and to closed, and show the close rate next to the volume. Loud channels and good channels stop looking the same.

On Pro, Google Ads spend and your fixed-cost channels join the table, so each source also has a cost per lead and a budget pace.

Tech Breakdown

One-on-ones with the numbers already on the table.

Where each tech’s revenue came from, how they close against their own target, what a call is worth with them, and callbacks. Service and maintenance techs are measured by their own rules, and installers never get credit for a sale they did not make.

Who counts as what is a rule you confirm at setup and can change by ticket, with a dated version every time.

How it works

From API key to office wall in about an hour.

Most of it is waiting while we read your account. The part that needs you is a short review.

The analysis sees counts and totals only. A customer’s name, address or phone number never leaves your Housecall Pro account.

01

Start the trial

Card at signup, nothing charged for 14 days. You get an account and your company's own dashboards, signed in or on the TV.

02

Paste your Housecall Pro key

From the API settings in Housecall Pro (their MAX plan). We check it with one read call and store it encrypted. We only ever read.

03

We read a year and propose the rules

Job types, tags, people, lead sources and statuses are counted and profiled. From that profile, every rule the boards need, each with its evidence and how sure we are.

04

Answer a few questions, confirm

Anything we could not settle, we ask. You edit what you like and confirm. Nothing goes live until you do.

05

The TV goes up

A link that needs no login, refreshed every minute, on any browser with a screen. Changes later go through tickets, answered within one business day.

Where it comes from

Built in an HVAC office, not in a boardroom.

kpibetter started as one company’s office TV in Southern California. The owner wanted the week’s revenue, who was closing and whether tomorrow was booked, without opening a report. Every rule on the boards was argued over in that office first.

The same engine now runs for any Housecall Pro company, with your rules instead of theirs.

Made for a wallSized for 1080p screens, legible from the back of the room, no login on the TV.
Fair to techsService, maintenance and hybrid techs are judged by their own targets, and sellers get the credit, not whoever drove the van.
Tomorrow, not last quarterCall capacity for today and the next working day, because that is what the office can still change.
Read-only, by designWe read your account. We never write to it, and nobody at kpibetter can see your key once it is stored.

Security

Your key, sealed. Your customers, never seen.

Encrypted at rest, never shown againAPI keys are sealed with AES-256-GCM before they are stored and opened only by the process that reads your data. They never appear in logs, emails or the admin console.

Questions

The ones we get asked first.

What do I need to start?
A Housecall Pro account on their MAX plan, which is the plan that includes API access, and a card. Setup is self-serve and takes about an hour, most of it waiting while we read your account.
How do the rules get set?
After you paste the key we read the last twelve months and build a profile of your job types, tags, people, lead sources and statuses. From that profile we propose every rule the dashboards need, show you the evidence next to each one, ask about anything we could not settle, and you confirm. Nothing goes live until you do.
Who sees my data?
Your team, through logins and TV links you create. The analysis step only ever sees aggregates such as counts by job type, never a customer's name, address or phone number. Your API key is encrypted at rest and never shown again, including to us.
What if a number looks wrong?
Raise a ticket from the dashboard. Every ticket gets a reply within one business day, a status you can follow, and, when a rule changes, a new numbered version of your rules with the date it took effect.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from the billing portal. Your dashboards stay up until the end of the period you paid for, and we delete your data thirty days after that unless you ask us to keep it.
